Prof. Arthur John Nowak, DMD

Dr. Arthur Nowak is Professor Emeritus of Pediatric Dentistry and Pediatrics at the University of Iowa College of Dentistry and Medicine and affiliate professor at the School of Dentistry at the University of Washington in Seattle.

From 2002 to 2012 he was executive director of the American Board of Pediatric Dentistry. He has served as Director, President and Trustee of numerous organizations dedicated to dentistry for children.

He has published many articles and edited a number of texts, mostly on healthcare for infants, young children and children with special healthcare needs.

Among his many awards and honours, Dr. Nowak was named Legacy Laureate by the University of Pittsburgh in 2013 and was honoured as Mentor of the year 2012 by the College of Diplomats.
